Having a day off by the seaside.
Just off the Easter Bank Holiday and with quite a few activities recently — from directing plays to a course in counselling, new cloud platform at work and some technical writing proposals — I decided to take an extra day off. Recharging batteries and enjoying the sunshine with a nice sea breeze.
Unexpectedly inspired to write… Glad I had a pen and my trusted notebook!
I had been working on a script for a play. I dusted it off to try to submit to a local writing group for potential performance later in Summer, but it was not quite there.
I started approaching this with new eyes and maybe making a shift to prose. This may end up as a a short story or could it even be a novel… getting ahead of myself!
Well, off to get some fish and chips before heading back home. Cheerio!
